Go Getters on duty offers personalized errand service solutions, allowing the flexibility and freedom in managing your errands. Demands of everyday life can be time consuming, exhausting and overwhelming. Be confident in knowing you have accomplished more with just a little helping hand.

• Scheduling & Waiting Services for home/office/car

Requests will be declined if we feel they are not legal, ethical or moral.
We reserve the right to refuse a request if it is illegal, immoral or unethical.
Payments are due upon completion of services Rates: Starting at $26 CAD (+HST) Seniors (65+) receive 10% discount off entire bill Fuel surcharge applicable for travel beyond 16 KM (10 miles; 0.49 cents per kilometer thereafter) Minimum 1 hour charge for service. Additional time billed in 15 min increments ***Bundle services are available – please call to inquire. Go Getters on Duty is created simply out of the need to helping others. It can be hard work taking charge of your time. The strain of multi-tasking is at an all time high, not wanting to face the reality that life is hectic and people are always busy.

With the diverse population, awareness of practical services offered can save time for the working professionals, older adults and businesses. Assisting you in minimizing that stress and pressure that creeps up on a daily basis, whether it is for you, a loved one or for your business.

My name is Debbie Peters and I am an active mom, wife and working professional. Caring for aging parents, relatives and friends is not an easy task. It is difficult asking someone for help without feeling we’ve burdened others. Working in healthcare for 18 years, administratively supporting a variety of areas and departments, in rehabilitation, complex care, long-term and acute care settings. The passion for helping others is the reason Go Getters on Duty was founded.

Requests may include: Grocery & mall shopping, scheduling events and activities, prescription deliveries, making reservations for a show, a restaurant or for travel, courier/deliveries, out of town house check ups, administrative requests (retrieve messages, data entry, filing, mailings), waiting for your delivery to arrive and even dropping off your vehicle for a service or repair!

1. What is an errand service?

A. An errand service provides individuals and/or businesses with assistance to manage a wide variety of personal or work related tasks to help organise your time. Its just like having another set of hands to get the job done!

2. Do you work after hours and on holidays?

A. The hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. & Saturday’s from 10:00am – 2:00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Statutory holidays.

3. Do you have appropriate licences and coverage?

A. Yes, licensed, bonded and commercially insured.

4. Do you take clients to appointments?

A. Unfortunately not, but will gladly locate a service provider for your specific needs.

5. How do you request for services?

A. Simply call 905-699-3256 to provide your request(s) or contact me at www.gogettersonduty.com to your request, by entering it onto the “Contact Us” page.

6. How do you charge for services?

A. The promotional hourly rate of $26 includes a round trip of 16 km (10 miles). There is a 0.49 cents per kilometer thereafter.

7. Are there additional fees (mileage or other)?

A. Fees are incurred for additional mileage. Items or groceries that are purchased at your request, they will be added to your bill. HST will be added to the invoice for services rendered. There are no hidden fees.

8. Do you offer any special discounts or service packages?

A. Yes – 10% off for Seniors. There are also packages available. Please call to inquire.

9. What are your payment options?

A. Accepting Debit, EMT, Visa, Mastercard and Amex

10. Will you protect my personal information and privacy?

A. Your personal information will not be shared. It will be held in the strictest of confidence.

11. Do you offer pet sitting services?

A. Unfortunately we do not offer pet sitting services. However am happy to provide recommendations for services you may use.
